The authors takes one on a magic carpet trip through their gardens and other wonderful gardens throughout the world, to bring help and to explain how gardens should look and how they are maintained in the wild or construed in ones own patch.

As always, the Springer-Ogden team gives intelligent discussion and explanation of the important concepts that this book is designed around – garden design that is appropriate to its location. Illustrated with beautiful photos from a wide range of well-known and lesser-known locations. Geared for the non-professional, but pros will no doubt appreciate this lovely book as well.
